What do you think the hype around 5G looks like? It's very much overshadowed by the AI bubble right now, but it seems to me that it's probably the longest-running hype there's been in a while.

Are you buying any telecom stocks etc? 🤔

5G will evolve a lot over time. It still has a lot to offer and we are not using its full potential.

I think so too, but it doesn't seem to me that the stock has ever benefited in any significant way. For being a tech hype, I don't think it's talked about much.

It just seems to me that it is always argued that some company has a great future outlook thanks to 5G etc. - I don't find it very topical anymore either, but I often see headlines that mention 5G in connection with the market.

Telecom stocks just took a decent hit. Check out my post if you like. Personally, I think I'll wait a while, I don't know how to react to this news yet.
