What do you think about Continental $CON.DE? The stock has appreciated 32% over the past year, the P/E here is just over 11 and the dividend is 3.4%.

It doesn't look bad, but it would take a lower price to get in. What's the reason for the increase?

For some diversification it may be fine, but otherwise the performance is weak and I won't be buying.

I agree, it's just some short term reaction and I certainly won't be buying.

It's a stable business and when I factor in the dividend, growth and P/E, it still looks attractive.
