Sea Limited | Q2 2025: explosive growth across segments and return to strong profitability

Sea Limited, the Singaporean technology conglomerate behind the platforms Shopee, Garena a SeaMoneyconfirmed that its pivot to a growth strategy is yielding remarkable results. After a very strong start to the year, the company was able to further accelerate momentum in the second quarter, increasing revenues in all three divisions and significantly strengthening profitability. Total revenue grew 38% year-on-year, net profit quadrupled and the company raised the outlook for its gaming and fintech businesses.

Sea is thus refocusing on expansion after a period of defensive approach, when it emphasized cost reduction. It is growing in Asia, Latin America and emerging markets, while maintaining high efficiency and discipline in capital management. Its three pillars - e-commerce, digital finance and gaming - complement each other to create an ecosystem with huge potential for long-term growth.
